Mentorship Program

Our Star

The individual points of the “Star” of the Beacon Foundation’s logo represent the five major target areas for our mentorship program and community engagement:

  • The Christian Faith and the African American Experience
  • Basic life skills and Whole Person Health and Wellness
  • Arts & Culture and Athletic Appreciation
  • Scholastic, Employment and Business Development
  • Diversity & Inclusion and Community Engagement

In 2023, the Beacon Foundation will select young males who are rising 5th grade and rising 9th grade students to participate in the mentorship program. Once enrolled in the program, the mentees will stay in the program until their high school graduation.  The program supports diversity, equality and inclusion and complies with equal opportunity for enrollment in the program.
